“My husbands is Nick Feldhake. We both are from small towns and went to the same school together. I always said he was too good of a friend to date but in 8th grade that changed and We have been together ever since. The night he proposed we were going out to eat with his cousin and girlfriend. Well, we were supposed to anyway ;) It was all planned to eat Mexican at our local rooftop bar. I had never been there and was so excited to go. We made our way up to the roof and when I walked out I saw “Marry Me” in light up letters, a bottle of champagne, and rose petals everywhere. He then got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. We spent the rest of the night celebrating with close friends and family.”

“Don’t stress the small things. No one will notice them but most importantly, slow down, and take everything in on your wedding day. You truly don’t know how fast it will go, until it’s over.”

“My bouquet.. 3 weeks before my wedding I lost the most important man in my life. My Dad. I had our local florist shop wrap my bouquet with one of his shirts along with a picture charm of him. It was the perfect touch and I knew he was right by side walking me down the aisle.”
