“ I couldn't have dreamed of a better experience when it came to finding my perfect wedding gown! I was so nervous leading up to my appointment that I wouldn't have the "this is the one" moment that you see in the movies when the bride-to-be finds her perfect dress. Little did I know I'd end up having my "this is ABSOLUTELY the one" moment after trying on only a handful of gowns. They made the whole experience so comfortable and fun! My mom, mother-in-law & cousin, who doubled as my Maid of Honor, were my wedding dress cheer squad for the day and I absolutely loved having them there when I said "YES to the dress." 10/10 would recommend House of White to all the future brides out there (: ” - Cydney

“Zachary James Virgin. On our first date we grabbed drinks at Mo's House downtown and then swung past Hacienda for some chips & queso. Found out that first night that we have a LOT in common...including our birthdays (mine is 01/10/1994, his is 01/11/94...less than 24 hours apart). The rest is history, we hung out almost every day following that first date! Our first "fancy date" was to Cavanaugh's the Friday following our very first date. On the night of our engagement, Zach had made a reservation at Cavanaugh's for a date night at the end of a busy work week...I didn't suspect a thing. We finished up dinner, and met up with my parents for drinks at Entwined, followed by a couple drinks at Arcademie. The whole drive home after dinner & catching up with my parents, Zach was being all sappy and sentimental about life and everything we had been through and accomplished in our short time together...all leading up to a sweet, heartfelt proposal at the end of the night. It was perfect!”

“I was honored to wear a piece of Zach's family's jewelry as my "something borrowed," a ring from his great great grandmother. My "something old" was a lucky sixpence coin taped into my shoe that's been passed down for brides on my mom's side for generations. Both very special pieces to me. Zach & I also each had a signature scent for the day, I picked out a new cologne for him & he picked a new perfume for me!”

“Our first touch was very special. We had gone back & forth on if we wanted to do a first look OR a first touch before the wedding. We definitely made the right decision...the first touch & reading each others letters was enough to calm some nerves (and shed some tears)...but still left a little bit of wonder for the beginning of the wedding ceremony. We also had a private last dance at the very end of the night...all Zach's idea :)”
