My best friend/maid of honor is from Evansville, and she told me about HOW. After looking at their Instagram page and seeing how inclusive they were (not just serving but CELEBRATING plus-size brides), I immediately made an appointment. Hannah was the sweetest person I could have ever hoped to have as a consultant. She knew right off the bat what I was looking for, and the first dress she brought me (and the first wedding gown I ever tried on) was the one for me. Tell us about BAE <3
“Jared and I met on Bumble. We started dating in December 2018, then I had to move for an internship, so we dated long distance for a year with lots of trips to visit each other in between. After I finally moved back home in 2020, Jared asked my parents (and best friend) for their blessing with the promise that I would finish college before we got married. We went to the Indianapolis Zoo one day in July (I thought it was just a fun day to celebrate his birthday), and went to the dolphin pavilion. Dolphins and other aquatic animals have been my favorites since I was a little girl, so I was excited to see them. In the pavilion, there is an underwater viewing area where the dolphins swim around you. This area is usually crazy busy, but this time we were lucky enough to be the only ones in there. That’s when he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife!”
Wedding day advice for future brides?
“Delegate!! Don’t try to do everything yourself, especially on the big day. That’s what your people are there for.”

“My immediate family as well as all of my bridal party all live in different states, so having all of my favorite people together to celebrate with us was incredibly special. BeReal also went off during our first dance, so we got some really cute reaction photos from our friends!”
