Bridal Trends We're Loving for 2025/2026

Analyzing bridal trends may be our favorite pastime. While some aspects of bridal style remail constant, you’d be surprised how dynamic trends can ebb and flow throughout the zeitgeist. We’re breaking down a few of our very favorite current bridal trends we’ve gladly welcomed to our showroom floor. Take a look!

Dropped waist wedding gown by Essense of Australia available at House of White, a luxury bridal boutique in Newburgh, Indiana

The Dropped Waist

Every season brings subtle shifts in silhouettes, and this year has brought the elongated waistline. What exactly is a dropped waist, you ask? It's when the waistline of the gown meets the bodice closer to the hip, rather than the ‘natural waistline’ above the belly button. Make sense? A dropped waistline is both modern and timeless, offering an elegant and unique silhouette.

The Floral Jacquard

Clean and classic vibes continue to reign supreme, but brides are loving the addition of a subtle floral brocade to their elegant, minimalist looks. Whether your wedding vibe is sleek and dramatic or more earthy, a floral jacquard gown can modify to any mood

The Neck Scarf

Who knew a simple sweep of fabric across the neck could have such impact? The neck scarf has become one of our favorite additions to any bridal look, whether completing a jaw-dropping ceremony look, or when a bride swaps a veil for a scarf for a second reception look. It’s effortlessly striking and oh-so-chic.

The Basque Waist

So what exactly is a Basque Waist? Well, if you’ll indulge me as I copy/paste the official definition: A basque waist is a flattering V-shaped or U-shaped waistline on a dress or bodice that extends below the natural waistline, creating a distinctive dipped point at the center front. This style is often associated with Victorian fashion and bridal wear, and it's known for its ability to accentuate the waist and elongate the torso.

Our brides love the not do historic fashion details, while also providing the snatched waistline that feels like a dream.

Style 1902 by Martina Liana is a fitted two-piece illusion with embellished bodice available at House of White in Indiana

The Two-Piece Illusion

Brides and designers alike have been loving the corset bodice, and the illusion of the two-piece gown dials up the drama on this gorgeous trend. While two-piece gowns exist, you can also take part in this trend in one gorgeous look. Another nod to historic dressmaking, the two-piece illusion corset delivers a dynamic silhouette and a little old fashioned romance.

The Lace Veil

Veils have been embellished with lace since the dawn of time. But this season brides are opting instead for full Chantilly lace veils for a classic statement. Whether worn to compliment a lace gown, or to add texture and dimension to a minimalist silk style, lace veils have turned up the drama and look spectacular in photos.
