“My husband’s name is Bennett. We met at Western Kentucky University back in 2015 and went on a few dates together but decided to just remain friends! In 2019, we ended up rekindling our love in true Kentucky fashion at a derby party in Harrodsburg. Bennett proposed to me at Jeptha Creed Distillery in 2022 and surprised me with an engagement dinner with family and friends after our proposal! We got married right back where we met in Bowling Green on September 23, 2023!”

“While we were all lined up to start walking to the ceremony site a butterfly came and followed our parents down the aisle to their seats and then came back to follow our wedding party down the aisle and fluttered throughout our guests during the ceremony. We like to think this was a good omen! Our wedding party still talks about how magical it was!”
