“House of White was at the top of my list when it came to searching for the perfect dress. I was nervous about making one of the first *big* decisions in planning process, but the team could not have been more patient and supportive in helping find the right dress. On top of it all I was torn between two dresses. I loved the Martina Liana 1394 dress but always imagined wearing sleeves with the date set for NYE. The team suggested we customize the dress and have sleeves added. This creative thinking allowed for the dress I always imagined to become a reality.” - Ashley

Tell us about your BAE!
“Dane and I met at work. We both work at companies in the golf industry. We started dating in Fall 2019, and going through the Pandemic together made us realize how serious we were about each other. In August 2021, Dane planned the best proposal. We were planning on a round of golf after work in Henderson, Kentucky and going to Farmer and the Frenchman after (The winery where we had our first date.) I had no idea the proposal was coming at this time, in fact I just planned on wearing my golf skirt to the winery for dinner on the deck. Dane suggested that I bring something nicer to wear…and then I realized it was coming. Decided it was probably a good idea to wash my hair as well haha That golf round was probably the MOST awkward golf round we’ve ever had (we were both so nervous), but turned out to be the BEST day ever. We stayed at the cabins at Farmer and the Frenchman, he had flowers, a card, and the ring waiting in our cabin. I couldn't imagine a more perfect engagement!”
What was your favorite accessory on your wedding day?
“My dress was absolutely perfect, and I totally fell in love with the detachable bow on the back. It was the perfect way to accessorize a minimalistic and classic dress.”
Wedding day advice for future brideS
“Wedding planning is a lot, keep it fun! I stayed organized and tracked my budget by using The Knot app, but tried to stay mindful about keeping the planning process fun. As soon as I got stressed out, I knew it was time to take a step back, and find the fun in the planning process.”

“Our ceremony and reception was all held in the same building at the Holland Center. Our ceremony took place in the concourse / lobby with 30-40 foot windows looking out to a park filled with white Christmas lights. A surprise during the ceremony: As soon as I walked down the aisle with my parents at 7 p.m., NYE fireworks went off and guests could see them in the building reflections out the windows. It was such a fun addition to the ceremony!”
