“My HUSBAAAANDDDD is Logan Young!! We're high school sweethearts and coming up on our 7 year anniversary of being together this December. We grew up around each other so we've kind of always known each other - just took some pushy friends senior year to help us really see each other. Logan proposed on our 5 year anniversary at Farmer and Frenchman and it was so special because we usually go there for our anniversary dates and since it was 2020, we hadn't really done anything "fun" so going out to dinner for our anniversary was already so fun and special and then he proposed at dinner! He is my rock and the person I depend on the most and I literally still can't wrap my mind around how lucky I am that we get to love each other.”
WEDDING DAY ADVICE FOR FUTURE BRIDES
“Romanticize every moment of this process that you can. Take pictures, write in a journal, just sit and think about everything that you're doing. It's not cliche when people say that these months/days fly by because they definitely do (even though you're counting down the seconds until you're walking down the aisle). When it comes to dress shopping, it's also definitely not cliche to say that when you know, you know. I really had no idea what kind of dress I wanted but when I put on my dress the first time and I walked out, my cousin and I looked at each other and welled up with tears and smiled and both said, "Grandma" because somehow, even though the dress wasn't that similar to our grandma's wedding dress, we both felt her in that moment. We lost her to Covid and that was something that was really hard for me to swallow but in that moment, I felt her nudge me and I just knew. So whatever you feel whether it's your loved one nudging you from the great beyond to get the dress or maybe even your gut saying hell no sister, listen to it!(:”

A SPECIAL MOMENT FROM MADDIE & LOGANS WEDDING DAY
“Our first look was what will stay in my memory the clearest for the rest of my life. I was so calm leading up to the wedding and wasn't stressing out the way people always try to freak brides out about but somewhere between walking down from the bridal suite to the solarium where we were having our first look, I just became overwhelmed with butterflies and jitters. When they opened the doors and Logan was standing there facing the opposite way and I saw his back, it all just hit me that we were really getting married and everything I had ever hoped for and dreamed of was happening right in front of my eyes. I'm very much a romantic and I just became overwhelmed with the fact that I was marrying the man better than my dreams could've ever dreamt up and in my dream dress pretty much in the closest venue that you can get to a castle. It was just one of those moments that you always dream of and it ends up being even better than you ever thought possible.” - Maddie
