House of White was created in 2012 by husband and wife team Chris Lunn and Andrea Whitehead. Together they had a vision for a picturesque boutique in the heart of a charming shopping district in Southern Indiana. They purchased a historic building in Historic Newburgh (a white house, of course), and lovingly renovated it into a lush-yet-comfortable bridal destination.
With the perfect setting complete, brides immediately responded to Andrea's technique of fashion consulting and full-service styling. With a background in fashion design and by beginning her career in the couture bridal industry, Andrea focuses on presenting brides with quality, beautifully constructed modern designs that perfectly suit each bride’s unique style and wedding day vision. In the 11 years since its creation, House of White has grown and evolved into the ultimate bridal destination. Brides and their families travel far and wide to take part in the House of White experience, and to be fully styled by the knowledgeable members of the House of White team. What's one tip you'd give brides before they come for their appointment at House of White? Focus on the moment, and eliminate the word 'should' from your vocabulary, even if it's just for those 90 minutes. By focusing on how you feel in each gown, you can easily determine which gown is right for you based on what your heart/instincts tell you.
What's your favorite current bridal trend? I'm a ballgown girl at heart, so I love that volume is back! Especially when it's in a unique fabric, like a soft print or floral jacquard.
What's your favorite way to spend your day off? These days, I love a day off with my husband and two boys...no agenda whatsoever; just starting the day by making pancakes and seeing where the day takes us!How did you get into the bridal gown industry? I went to fashion school knowing that I wanted to work with bridal gowns. After a few years of working for couture bridal designers, I decided working with people in a boutique setting was more my cup of tea. I moved back home to the Midwest, opened House of White in 2012, and never looked back!
How would you describe your personal style? It definitely depends on the day! I love following fashion and playing with my look...but I'll always gravitate toward fab power suits and ladylike dresses.

What's one tip you'd give brides before they come for their appointment at House of White? Make the most of your experience and keep an open mind! You may have an idea of what you want but try not to be locked in and dead set. Your stylist may try something different on you and that's when you might find the dress you love!
What's your favorite current bridal trend? Currently loving gloves! They are an easy way to instantly make your wedding day look fashion forward and chic! There are so many designs from sheer tulle to a stunning silk that feel elegant and cool.
What's your favorite way to spend your day off? Date night is essential on a day off <3
How did you get into the bridal gown industry? I had the opportunity to join the team at House of White in 2021 as a part time stylist and was able to grow into a full time role! I have developed a strong passion of the bridal fashion industry and love creating lasting relationships with our brides!
How would you describe your personal style? I love to switch my style up, and try new trends. Usually leaning towards more feminine and classic styles.

What's one tip you'd give brides before they come for their appointment at House of White? Don't stress about your appointment!! It's okay if you don't know what you like or the vibe you're going for.. that's what we're here for ;) When you’re in your dress, you'll just know!
What's your current favorite bridal trend? I love a strapless, crepe gown with a pleated bodice! Add a slit and it's perfection in my book!
What's your favorite way to spend your day off? You'll probably catch me grabbing lunch with my boyfriend, walking by the river if the weather is nice, and making sure there's nothing new that I "need" to have at Target or our local boutiques!
How did you get into the bridal gown industry? I vividly remember saying to the stylist that helped my cousin find her wedding dress when I was 16, "I want to do this someday". I grew up driving by HoW all the time and would stare at the dresses in the window- when I saw they were hiring, I took the leap and it has been the most perfect job (younger Addy would be so excited) <3
How would you describe your personal style? Outside of work, an oversized sweatshirt and leggings are my go-to! When I want to feel my best though, I tend to lean toward a simple yet feminine look with midi dresses being my fav!
